Happy Easter: Why Don't Boys Get Bunny Ears?

Happy Belated Easter! I hope you guys enjoyed! We had a good time relaxing with family. If you're a mom of boys, you've undoubtedly noticed that in many cases, products for boys are blah compared to girls products whether it's fashion items or accessories. Well, the same goes for Easter bunny ears! So...crazy ole' me -- never one for allowing my littles to be without -- decided to make DIY bunny ears for T&T.  How cute, huh? T&T look like mini gangsta bunny rabbits, right! TOP 5 #Green Kids Video Countdown: #4

We are counting down the TOP 5 GREEN KIDS VIDEOS shot by me and featuring little T&T just in time for Earth Day on April 22!  If you missed it, this was our #5 pick.  For our #4 pick, we meet a woman who is super creative in more ways than one. #EcoFriendly Easter Egg Decorating with Tristin + Tyler

Easter is almost here and since it's Earth Month and almost Earth Day (April 22), I wanted to reuse some items for our eggs instead of purchasing new stuff! It's all about reducing, reusing and recycling you know? Anyway, we thought reusing foil would be different. The boys also thought of cutting up some old comic books. I must admit, it's not easy working with foil, or the comic book cut outs, but I think we did okay!

The boys made the polka dots using a hole puncher and used some glue to make the dots and glitter stick. Then they cut out comic book bubbles and glued them on. Simple and fun. What do you think? Happy Weekend 4.11.14

Today is one of the first days that I've really felt that Spring is here. So exciting! This weekend I plan to spend time creating content for you guys and T&T's future in television, which is slowly but surely coming to fruition (YAY!). I also want to do a few Easter crafts with friends, I love this fun idea and this one. 

Oh, the photo above, where is it from you ask? It was taken when the boyz were 7 with their friend - and also a twin - Naveah. I used to do freelance shoots and creative direction all the time and this was for a kids fashion magazine. I sooo want to get back into that work again but it's hard to find the time in between being a mom, wife, lawyer and producer, ya know! Anywho, it's a cute shot, huh?

Earth Month: Top 5 Green Videos

Did you know? It's Earth Month! All month long people are finding ways to share their love for the Earth, and we over here at Tristin + Tyler headquarters are BIG on loving the planet so we thought it would be fun to go down memory lane and share Tristin + Tyler's TOP 5 Eco-Friendly Kids Videos! 

As you may know, Tristin + Tyler spent a ton of time interviewing New Yorkers finding innovative ways to go green since they were 5! I in turn spent a ton of time finding these cool peeps to feature, shooting and editing the videos. From a remodeled craft studio school bus, to products made solely from trash, T+T discovered a ton of cool ways to recycle and upcycle. Will you share these videos with your child this month? You should! They are fun, and most of them ask your kids to play a memory game!

What's Cool: H&M Kids Spring Line

I have always been a big fan of H&M. The boys always do well in the boys' department and I am super picky, but I can always find an outfit for a night out or a professional suit for work.  This past weekend we were invited to check out H&M Times Square for the launch of their Spring kids line hosted by my gal Brianne of Stroller in the City. Boy was I impressed with the huge store, the staff and of course, the kidswear. From fun graphic tees to a denim vest/hoodie combination that Tyler wanted to wear all day, we shopped till we dropped! If you have kids that hate to tie their shoes - like mine - H&M carries these sneakers with mock shoelaces that just zip up - I think I buy them every year! The event was so fun, from a great MC who got the kids dancing and walking the runway, to face painting, balloon-making, great food and music, we all had a ball! You've gotta check out H&M for your Spring shopping.  Are your kids ready for Spring yet?
