Tristin + Tyler's mom and producer, Tiffany, takes you behind the scenes of the brand.

Halloween Yacht Party with TICKLE WATER

We love being one of the first to find out about cool new products, and then sharing it with the world! It's our job, isn't it? Well, we never want to disappoint, so say hello to Tickle Water, sparkling water for kids (and adults!). We were invited to a fun Halloween-themed party on a yacht to celebrate the launch of this unique brand. We are big fans already!

Love the packaging, the flavors and the fizz. The brand was created by mom Heather McDowell to encourage kids to drink water with a bit of a "tickle" for kids throats. Genius! If you have a kid that doesn't like to drink water, this may be your ticket! Check out a few pictures from the event below and then check out where you can find the product here.

What's Up, City Kid!? COOL MESS

COOLMESS1.jpg

We love to share cool spots that you may not know about, we are also big on letting kids take charge and get creative, so we were super excited to go behind the scenes of the DIY ice cream shop COOL MESS. The ice cream is delish + they let kids get messy while making their own sugar-filled ice cream specials right at your table.

Check out the episode below and let us know if your kiddo would enjoy making their own ice cream!

What's Up, City Kid?! - Hello POPBAR!

POPBAR3.jpg

POPBAR3 So glad Spring is here! The boys are so excited about getting outdoors more and checking out cool places like one of our new favorite spots for a treat, Popbar!  You know we are always on the hunt for the coolest hangouts for families, and this place...this place right here, is a winner!  On the next episode of What's up City Kid?!, we head to the West Village to go behind the scenes of a gelato shop that allows you to design your own perfect popsicle! Oh, and have you ever heard of hot chocolate on a stick? "What's that?" you ask? Ahh, my friends, you will have to watch the episode to get the chocolate-y scoop!

Tristin got a chance to chat with one of the founders of Popbar, Reuben BenJehuda, and you won't want to miss a peek inside this innovative spot. Here's a few images at from next Thursday's episode to hold you off until it launches. Stay tuned and definitely subscribe to our YouTube Channel here so you don't miss the episode (or anything else) next week!!

Tristin + Tyler's Weekend Picks: 11.21.14

the weekend 11.21.14

Happy Weekend!

It's a bit chilly here in NYC, so this week we are encouraging you to enjoy being inside!

FASHION: In anticipation of the holidays and our holiday style guide launching next week, (YAY!!!) we're all about bow ties. Our fave? Check out Stinky MCGee! Love that the brand satisfies our love for the planet by being locally made in Brooklyn and with unique designs and an easy to put on and take off closure, these accessories always make us smile!

FOOD: We love Chop Chop magazine and enjoy trying out their fun recipes. Back when T&T were on the cover of the mag, Tyler got caught cracking up in this fun image with a delish parfait! You should try making it for breakfast. Easy, filling and the kids love it!

FUN:  We're probably going to be talking more about this App in the next coming months, but I had to tee it up to get you guys excited about it now! Check out Kid Quest, an app that encourages your kiddos to try new crafts, activities and fun experiments. We love it because the instructions our simple, the ideas are cool and as it gets colder, it's a great way to keep the kids busy indoors.

As always, tag us with @tristinandtyler or #tristinandtyler in any social media images if you try any of our picks! xo

What's Cool: Marvel Universe LIVE!

SONY DSC

I suprised the boys not one, but two times in one day when I picked them up from summer camp early so they could go to see Marvel Universe Live by Feld Entertainment AND picked up one of their best friends, Xavier, so he could come along. The three of them had NO idea what was going on until the cab driver asks the parking attendent "Which way to Marvel!" I was like UGH!!! There goes the surpise! Anyway the boys had a ball! From the pre-show VIP event where the boys got to meet the actors behind the masks, to becoming an agent with a special ID and taking combat lessons, the boyz were over the moon.  The special effects, high-flying super heros and acrobatic feats had us "ooh" and "ahhing" the entire time! Thanks to The Moms for the fun. You've GOTTA see the show before it's gone!! Visit here to find out dates! And keep up with the fun on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook!

What's Cool: Kids Design The World

SONY DSC

We are in Brooklyn a lot because we have family there on hubby's side, but since we don't live there, we rarely explore the different neighborhoods and get a feel for each area. I've been itching to explore and see what fun stuff I can find, so I was so glad to be invited to Kids Design The World, a new shop in Brooklyn where families can not only get really cool games, gifts and activity sets for children, your kiddo can actually design their own room! Yep, Kids Design The World (KDW) is all about letting kids get creative and use the products in the store to design a fun room for themselves. Afterall, kids always want to make their mark, you know? Why not do it through design? KDW also offers creative classes and an awesome backyard playspace, so whether your kiddo is learnng to design a t-shirt or getting some playtime in, KDW just about has it all. Tristin and Tyler took a class called Intro to Architecture. It was amazing to see how their idea of what a building was changed after they learned about the inspiration behind some of the most famous structures in the world. So awesome!  Make sure to check out KDW here and let me know if you pass by, we would love to hear about it!  xx
