If you walk the streets of New York City, especially Brooklyn, you've probably seen the work of this cool crochet expert.  Some call her craft "yarn bombing" or "yarn graffitti," but whatever you want to call it, we love the fact that creatives are making the city a little more colorful with street art made with yarn.

In the latest episode of Tristin + Tyler's webseries What's Up, City Kid?! (yes, a bunch of new episodes coming your way this Spring!!), we meet London Kaye, a dancer turned street artist who has made creations all over New York City just for fun, and even for brands like Gap + Starbucks!  Here's a peek at the episode, but make sure to watch when it on YouTube when it launches later this week! :)

Stay tuned!

Sneaker Lover: Jordan 6 Retro All Star

JACKET + DENIM: Zara   SHIRT: Gap Kids   SNEAKERS: Kids Foot Locker

You may have noticed that in addition to styling the boys' clothing, I'm starting to really get into sneakers. Yep, you'll see a lot more features on the latest and greatest "kicks" that everyone is going crazy about in the sneaker world.  For this shoot it was nice that Tristin didn't have to wear a big coat -- the weather was amazing this weekend -- and I loved to mix and match textures with the jacket, denim and plaid shirt.

When I was in high school I remember how important the right sneaker was, and now that craze it TOTALLY back.  This week it's all about the hottest kicks for us! First up, check out these Jorden 6 Retro All Stars! They just came out last Friday. When they hit the light it's kind of two-toned which I love.  Yes, a little expensive ($180) for younger kids, but for an older kid who is going to work hard not to mess them up (like my boyz), it's a good investment as Jordans generally last a long time (just go a half size bigger so they grow into it!).

Are you into sneakers? What about your kids? Check out more images below and let us know what you think of these and the outfit!

What's Up, City Kid?! The Great Jack O' Lantern Blaze!

Screen Shot 2016-10-17 at 9.17.11 AM.png

Every Halloween we try and change things up a bit. Yes, we always go trick-or-treating, and we usually decorate pumpkins, but it's always nice to find other things to do. This year we found out about The Great Jack O'Lantern Blaze in Croton On Hudson, NY and we were so glad we were invited to check it out! The entire experience was amazing. Not only was the creativity impressive with over 7,000 pumpkins strategically designed to create amazing creations, but the whole experience from the spooky background music, to having delicious hot chocolate and apple cider after was fun. This event sells out pretty fast so make sure to get tickets here before it sells out!
