Holiday Charity Box: Tristin + Tyler Style a Panache Box

With the holidays coming up fast, I try to remember how blessed we are to be a healthy, happy family. Each holiday season I try to find a few ways to give back to those less fortunate, so I was glad to be approached by Panache Box. Panache Box asked if we would be interested in making a Tristin + Tyler charity box filled with our favorite clothing items Panache Box has to offer and the proceeds from the sale of the box would go to a charity of our choice. Obviously, we were in! We chose to give the proceeds to the Max Cure Foundation, a foundation "dedicated to researching rare pediatric cancers, improving treatments and finding cures that will save children's lives."

Winner: Rocawear "MY KID ROCS" Contest

We are so excited to announce the three winners of the Rocawear My Kid Rocs Contest! We asked parents to tell us why their kid rocks in the community and we received tons of entries from awesome kids all over the country! It was SUCH a tough decision, as so many kids are doing great things for their families, the community and those in need, but we had to chose and here are the final three children who each win a prize package of clothng from Rocawear worth $250.00!

MR. MARKEVION - This 4 year old is already learning the importance of helping others! He and his mom give away clothes to those in need. Sounds like T&T, huh? What a QT!

LUCIA - This gorgeous little one helps her mom sew dresses for Africa. A little designer in the making. We love that.

MASON - This handsome dude not only rocs in hockey and plans to go pro, he read over 100 books last summer! WHOA! T&T got some work to do!

Giving Back: Goodwill + Styling Contest

As you learned from our first video eva, we love to give back whenever we can. Recently, we teamed up with Goodwill of New York and New Jersey to give back, and maybe win their fun Spring Fling Contest! You can enter the contest too for a chance to be styled by two vintage stylists. Hey vintage fashion lovin-moms: this is the perfect opportunity for you, darlings! Here you can find all the details you need to enter the contest. Since it's earth month, we were planning to give some clothing away anyway, so teaming up with Goodwill came at a perfect time! We packed our reusable bags with clothing, put on our Appaman blazers and headed out for a giving back adventure!

I expected to donate our items to Goodwill and walk out the door, but the boys said "let's explore!" So we did! From books, toys to shoes and more, I was shocked at how much the store had to offer. The best part is that even when you're purchasing something, you're giving back because the majority of your dollars goes to help those in need. A win/win for me!
