Tristin + Tyler's Threads: SPRAYGROUND

As the kids get older, everything about their style really matters. From the denim brand, to the sneakers to the bags - these kids know what's hot and they expect to have it! And for me, as long as their grades are good, I have no problem giving it to them. Enter SPRAYGROUND. Not only do each of these bags make an artistic statement, they are super durable. The boys' have a teddy bear bag from SPRAYGROUND from 3 or 4 years ago that they still use (and love) till this day!

For this shoot in Washington Heights, NYC, we picked up the boys' pal Mia and had a ton of fun trying to dodge the rain and find spots to shoot. Tristin + Tyler's Threads: Childrens Place Plaid + Tees

I have been shopping at The Children's Place since Tristin + Tyler were babies. The boys literally lived in The Children's Place one piece baby pajamas, and grew up wearing their graphic tees. When it comes to shopping for boys, The Children's Place is the spot. Their sizes go all the way up to 16, which is a super rare find these days!

The boys are big fans of the cool graphic tees -- they love Tristin's tee "I am Your Future President" and their slim denim. Plaid is always one of my go-to styles for Fall. I mix and match them with tees under them, over them or layer with a jean jacket or blazer.  Have you checked out The Children's Place lately? It really is the place to shop, especially for boys' classic pieces for the school year.

Tristin + Tyler's Threads: The Fall/Summer Time

You know how it's cold enough for a leather at night, but still hot enough to have an ice cream sundae outdoors? Yep, this is my favorite weather. The in-between period where you can rock a jean jacket, but still get away with sandals or shorts. That was the idea behind this shoot -- a breezy, warm night in NYC with the boys' rocking all MOLO. A little Fall style with the last hint of Summer with Blacktap milkshakes! YUM! What do you think? Are you ready for Fall or still holding on to Summer?

Tristin + Tyler's Threads: Scotch and Soda

Summer is definitely in full swing, and with the heat wave we had last week I'm on the look out for lighter + brighter clothes the boys can rock and still look presentable for auditions, video shoots and meetings. Scotch and Soda (the kids line is called Scotch Shrunk) always does the trick. The details on their pieces are amazing! Bet you can't see the details in Tyler's polka dots and buttons, and check out Tristin's denim blocked shirt + water color painted shorts. HOT. See more below and let me know what you think!

P.S. Don't mind the horseplay picture with Dad below. While I was sweating my butt off trying to get the "perfect" shot, my three "boys" got in some play time. Thought I'd share. :)

So excited to share Tristin's shoot for Tommy Hilfiger! Tommy Hilfiger is coming out with their own school uniforms. Tristin booked this casting last year and it shot in December and the images just came out this week! Takes a long time to see images from your shoot or commercial sometimes, but it was worth the wait don't you think!

Tristin + Tyler's Threads: Converse CHUCK II Release Event

Not only have the boys been rocking Converse Chucks on a regular basis since they were 5, I've rocked them for years. Even when they are worn down and dirty, they are still our go to kicks. This week we were invited to the launch of Converse's Chuck II sneakers.  Converse truly stepped up their game! More sole, more comfort and bright lines since there is so much more white going on. I'm already styling outfits with them for the blog the next few weeks, so get ready. Are you a Chuck Taylor fan or you a fan now? What do you think of the upgrade?

Threads: Cousin Madison in Gap Kids

Gap Kids has pretty much always been a staple in my family.  It's just what my sisters and I always wore. I recently met up with junior high school friends after 20 years and got reminded that in our yearbook, in the section that said where will be in 20 years, the entry for me said I would be "an owner of a GAP franchise". Well, there you have it! Now that Gap Kid-loving tradition keeps on going with Tristin + Tyler and my niece Maddie.

This past weekend I had so much fun shooting Maddie, who is now 5 years old, in Gap Kids. What energy this girl has! I took her down to Chelsea and she totally rocked this shoot with no jacket in 35 degree weather.  I love the mix of the patterns and textures of her outfit, you can thank her stylish mom for that. And her hair...oh that hair, if only!  :)
