The boys love to read, but they REALLY love to read the "Diary of A Wimpy Kid" series of books. Have you heard of them? Each book is written from the perspective of a boy in junior high school. They've also made three movies based on the books. The latest film, "Diary of A Wimpy Kid: Dog Days" comes out on DVD December 18th! This past weekend, The Moms hosted an event at Apple Seeds so children could meet the author, Jeff Kinney, and hang with one of the actors in the movie, Rowley, played by Robert Capron. Check out the boys' t-shirts! They just HAD to wear them!
Jeff and Robert were so nice to the kids and answered all of their questions. The kids were really adamant about why there isn't another movie coming. It was amazing how much they all knew about the series and its characters.
Tyler, who is a super duper cartoonist, was excited when Jeff gave a drawing lesson.
The kids were able to make their own diaries, just like the main character in the series, Greg.
