Um, yeah, you may not see it yet, but I am certain it's coming. You know, the one day it's 50 degrees and the next day your fingers are falling off Winter freeze? I've been a New Yorker all my life and mother nature loves freaking us city kids out (and getting us sick) with crazy weather. So, thanks to our pals at Target, we're gearing up early with these awesome coats, hats and gloves from Cherokee. The boys consistently loose their accessories, no matter what they are, but ironically, they don't lose 'em when they're cool-looking -- see how that works? LOL! So thankfully, Target has got the boys covered (pun intended) with cool graphics on gloves, and funky add-ons for the hats. Loving the fur on these hoods and the cool emblem on the sleeve. I am all about the details. Oh, and an awesome price never hurts either (the coats are under $40 bucks!), especially when purchasing winter gear for two or more kiddos. How are you gearing up for the cold? I bet Target has exactly what you need. Stay warm!

Tristin + Tyler Take Over Lil' Stylers: Day 2 Recap
Things are definitely heating up over on the LIl' Stylers Kids Fashion App during each day of our TAKE OVER! If you haven't downloaded the app yet, you can do it here if you have an iPhone. For you Android friends, the app will be coming in 2014! Don't you fret!
DAY TWO was all about rock and roll, a little bit of edginess and a whole lotta cool! For Tyler, I cut the sleeves off of a Children's Place long-sleeved tee, ripped his jeans, added a plaid shirt and there you go, a little rock and roll. Tristin wore a Gap sleeveless tee, a leather vest and as you know, my fave: cargo pants. Oh, and you have to remember to get some boots from Dr. Marten in order to really pull this look off! Whatcha think?

There are still four more days to go, so if you haven't already, make sure to download the Lil' Stylers App here so you don't miss A THING. For look number 2, Tristin and Tyler show their take on Rock & Roll style -- this is actually my fave look. Really edgy. Stay Tuned!
Tristin + Tyler Featured: STYLESIGHT
I love this behind-the-scenes video about petitePARADE by STYLESIGHT KIDS. See if you catch T+T around :50. petitePARADE, Kids Fashion Week was such a great learning experience for the boys, so glad they had a chance to host and see what goes on behind a big multi-brand production. So excited to see what will come up next! Check out the video! Have an awesome week!
Hosting petitePARADE Kids Fashion Week
I was so proud, excited (and a bit nervous) for T&T when they were asked to host petitePARADE, Kids Fashion Week this season. Tyler doesn't have an ounce of shyness in him, but Tristin's ability to get the job done despite being shy was amazing. The boys introduced fashion shows by JC Penney, Ugg Australia, Stride Rite and more, and each time they were on the runway, they rocked super-cool outfits thanks to stylist Tasheena Carmona (she rocks, by the way).
The best part for me was the boys' mistakes on stage. That sounds bad, right? Well, they didn't make any real mistakes, but when one of them got stuck, the other chimed right in. Love that they totally backed each other up. It's amazing to witness those little moments of maturity. I almost teared up! So excited to see where new opportunities take my two (not so) little munchkins.
Go behind the scenes with us by checking out the video and pix below. A huge thanks goes out to the awesome petitePARADE team for giving us this opportunity! xx
Tristin + Tyler's Threads: Inside Diesel Kid
One step into the Diesel Kid store on West Broadway in New York City and you actually feel cool - and I'm not talking about the air conditioning. From sleek leather jackets, to the inclusion of a no-nonsense attitude in almost every piece of clothing, this store screams cool kid. What's my favorite part? Denim, denim and more denim. Colorful washes, distressed knees and the perfect fit. I was in serious drool mode during this visit. Did you know Diesel carries a pair of sweatpant-like jeans called jogg jeans? Check this out --> with jogg jeans you get the super-structured look of denim, but your little can sit indian style, play and get active in comfort, just like they're in their oldest sweats. In my book, that's called G-E-N-I-U-S. How 'bout in yours? Make sure you visit Diesel Kid soon online or in person. You won't be dissapointed - at all. xx
Kids Rock! Fashion Show 2013
Fashion week in New York is officially over for Fall 2013 and my overall take is: there should definitely be more fashion shows for kids. Have you ever seen the smiles, nervousness and swag on stage when kids get to walk the runway? Perfectly Priceless. This week we were very lucky to be invited to the Kids Rock Fashion Show. Haddad Brands presented the show and one of the goals was to raise awareness, support and clothing for two very worthy organizations, K.I.D.S and Amar’e Stoudemire Foundation. Tons of celebrity kids and professional kid models rocked the runway to the latest hip hop and pop songs like nobody's business. And the amount of celebrities smiling as their kids strutted their stuff was a joy to see. Check out our photos below. We had a BALL!
